I was a lot like this before I got my Wacom Tablet. I really enjoyed the concept of graphic design, but I wasn't very tech-savvy, either. But having my tablet and Photoshop Elements, as well as access to a ton of online tutorials got me a lot more interested in it, since I actually gained some skill.
